New Construction in Our Workshop:

Einhorn Flutes:
In our workshop we manufacture recorders, historical and modern transverse flutes, as well as head joints. All these instruments carry the unicorn as a symbol for the fine quality.

Our wood is stored over a period of years until flutes are made out of it afterwards the raw flute is impregnated in a hot linseed oil bath forming is done by hand on the lathe

through staining, the wood grain comes out more intensively; violin varnish is important for the sound behavior of our flutes finishing the embouchure is one of the trickiest tasks in transverse flute building only the sharpest knives are used to cut the labium

the block is fitted our silver keys are fitted by hand with the highest precision control measurements, even on finished instruments, are necessary again and again
